The Department of Homeland Security released a report a couple of weeks ago titled, “Right-Wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment”. This report claims that right-wing extremists not only include hate-oriented groups, but anyone against abortion or illegal immigration and “those that are mainly anti-government, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority (those darn Founding Fathers) or rejecting government authority entirely”. Military veterans were also lumped into this report. Janet Napalitano issued an “apology” to veterans, but to no one else. It was not a coincidence that this report was released after the Tax Day Tea Parties.
We at the Conservative Alliance Media Network, based on suggestions from our readers and listeners, have decided to embrace the “right-wing extremist” moniker and launched a website to help all freedom-loving, Constitution-following Patriots get their name “on the list”. Join us over at http://proudextremist.com! Obviously, liberals will immediately claim that we really are extremists that are hell bent on violence, but we know the truth. And if DHS considers right-wing extremists to be people who value life and freedom and truth and service to country, then I am proud to be an extremist!
