White House Spokesmoron Disses Former VP Cheney

On Sunday, former Vice President Dick Cheney made an appearance in which he said that President Obama “is making some choices that, in my mind, will in fact raise the risk to the American people of another attack.”  Part of the reason is because Obama is reversing all of former President Bush’s orders.  The White House did not appreciate those comments and the White House Spokesmoron gave a response.  A sarcastic response.  I believe most of America has had about enough of this twit Robert Gibbs.  We do not appreciate sarcasm when answering to serious charges like the ones that Dick Cheney made.  Convince us that we are safe in your hands, do not attack the opposition.

Gibbs defended the President and claimed that he is keeping the nation safe while dealing with the problems George Bush’s administration did not like Gitmo, I guess, and making nice with our enemies.  And let us not forget the administration is changing the vocabulary of terrorism as well.  Janet Napalitano will not use the term terrorism anymore, but man-created disasters and forget about those “enemy combatants” .  Who are these morons fooling?

As the press chuckled to themselves – the only ones amused by Gibbs – Gibbs said when asked about Cheney’s comments, “Well, I guess Rush Limbaugh was busy. So they trotted out the next most popular member of the Republican cabal.”  Gibbs was also asked about Cheney’s  suggestion that President Obama is using the economic crisis to expand government and he responded, “I think not taking economic advice from Dick Cheney would be maybe the best possible outcome of yesterday’s interview.”

“The president has made quite clear that keeping the American people safe and secure is the most serious job that he has each and every day,” Gibbs also said referring to Obama’s recent decisions on torture and Gitmo.  Umm, Mr. Gibbs, no he has not.  I do not feel secure.  The only thing the President has made clear is that his change for America is really chains for America via Marxism.
