Glenn Beck’s Plan From The Villages

Glenn Beck announced this past week that he had formulated a plan to take back America and that he would be sharing it at his book signing at The Villages on Saturday (today).  So I made my way north and brought the Geritol with me.  It was a beautiful day in The Villages as they say.  Glenn arrived a little before four eastern time and was met by an energetic crowd of what I would estimate to be about 6,000 people.  There possibly were more, but I could not see the entire crowd.  The center square where Glenn held his rally is the same one that hosted Sarah Palin during the campaign.  It is an internal park area, but is surrounded by streets and sidewalks, which people had spilled out onto.  They only issued 2,000 wristbands for the book signing and I was one of the lucky recipients.

Glenn gave a stirring and passionate speech and laid out an outline of the plan he has for us to take back America.  It is a 100 year plan and he pointed out the reason that his plan is set against so many years is that it took us a long time to get here and will take much time to dismantle the Progressive structure around us.  After all, we have just made the first step of finally having the opportunity to audit the Fed, so the idea that we could abolish it overnight is unrealistic.

Glenn has assembled a large team of experts broken into groups of three according to each area of expertise, for example there are money experts and community organizing experts.  Glenn is breaking the country into seven regions and each region will host a convention that will be a full day or possibly a weekend of education about our history and the different areas of expertise.  The first convention will be held in Orlando on March 27th.  For the other regions, Glenn is setting up an area on his site for people to vote which city in each region they would like to have host the next convention.

These conventions will culminate in a huge gathering at the feet of Abraham Lincoln in Washington DC on August 28th.  Glenn is hoping to have several thousand, I am hoping for millions, so that our representatives will be forced to listen to us.  We will be an educated and angry mob hell-bent to take back our country peacefully.  Glenn gave us our first action step, which is to be an example in your individual life.  He pointed out that if you are in debt, get out of debt.  We need to take personal responsibility so that we can hold DC responsible.

It was a very motivating speech and then the book signing started.  This is the second time I have attended a Glenn Beck book signing.  It was great getting to shake his hand and thank him again.  This time, though, I added something else.  I held Glenn’s hand to make sure he heard me and I said, “Glenn, I am part of another non-existent group: gay conservatives.  We stand with you too.”  Glenn looked me in the eye and held onto my hand and pulled me towards him and said, “God bless you.”

When it comes to freedom and the Constitution, it really does not matter who we are.  We are all in this fight together and it is going to take each and every one of us.  Thank you to Glenn for being our inspiration!   I just finished this as news broke that the Senate got the 60 votes to move ReidCare into debate – now more than ever – WE ARE AT WAR!

UPDATE:  The Villages paper, The Daily Sun, reports that 25,000 people were in attendance – I guess I was a little off.

Advertisers Dump Fox News’ Glenn Beck

Apparently, when someone gives their opinion on the President and it is negative it is considered an attack now.  The Associated Press is running a story entitled, “Attack On Obama Riles Beck’s Advertisers.”  So the AP has passed judgement on the political opinions of Glenn Beck as attacks on the President.  And several advertisers including CVS Pharmacy, UPS, Clorox and Wal-Mart have decided that they would like Fox News to move any of their commercials out of the rotation during Glenn Beck’s show.  Never mind the 2.4 million viewers that watch the show.  And never mind patriotic Americans like myself who will not be patronizing these outlets.   How many of these advertisers pulled from shows accusing myself and millions of Americans of being racist and tea baggers and mobsters?  Does this kind of stuff only count when it is the great Obama?

Let’s look at the facts.  Behind this push to get these advertisers to drop Beck is a group by the name of ColorofChange.org which was founded by Van Jones, the Green Czar, now under scrutiny from Glenn Beck.  Van Jones is an avowed Communist and readily admits to converting to his support of Communism in prison.  Glenn did a broad expose this evening on his show about Van Jones.  Also, it is apparent to many people who are paying attention that the President does hold a racially charged deep seated anger.  Whether one calls him a racist for that or not is their decision, but I can see why someone would say such a thing.

The AP is reporting, “[Beck] actually on another Fox show July 28 when he referred to Obama as a racist with ‘ deep-seated hatred for white people.’The network immediately distanced itself from Beck’s statement, but Beck didn’t. He used his radio show the next day to explain why he believed that.”  I felt his explanation was fair.

These advertisers have every right to pull their ads from Beck’s show, but I also have the right to not give them anymore of my money.  And Glenn, stop the personal advertising you do on the radio for the UPS stores because those back stabbers don’t deserve your’s or Tanya’s kudos anymore.

Ann Coulter At CPAC

I am a huge fan of Ann Coulter because she tells it like it is with no compromise.  She stirs up alot of controversy, but that is what gets people listening.  And despite the mainstream media and liberals attempts at steering people away from Coulter by labeling her “bad” for conservatives, she has a huge following and was warmly welcomed at CPAC.  She spoke for about fifteen minutes and here are some of the highlights from her speech, which CNN likened to a comedy routine:

Coulter went after MSNBC referring to Olbermann, Matthews and Maddow as the “alternative prom crowd.”  She also referred to the media in general as the “government guard dog” instead of the “people’s watchdog”  and called Matthews and Olbermann of MSNBC the government’s “lap dog”.  Too funny!  She also claimed that Jesus had more executive experience then Obama since he actually lead twelve people.  She also commented, “Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t see Lincoln text messaging with Scarlet Johansson … and I forget, how many times did Lincoln vote present?”  and “Having pulled off their rather mediocre 53 percent to 46 percent victory, liberals can’t stop boasting about their new baby boy.”

Ann also pointed out the irony in the media based on their comparisons of President Obama to presidents Lincoln and Reagan whom liberals would detest based on their conservative values and being members of the Republican party, but use because “apparently they can’t think of a Democratic president worthy of being compared to.”

“If [Obama] thinks people wanted change in 2009, wait until 2012,” Ann said.  Amen to that!

Ann is set to debate Bill Maher on March 9th, 10th and 11th.  That should be wonderful since we know she has God on her side and Maher has…well…Playboy bunnies I guess.

Rush Limbaugh Wants Stimulus Bill To Fail – I Agree!

Today, Rush Limbaugh on his nationwide radio program declared that he had hope too – hope that the stimulus bill will fail and I have to agree with him.  It isn’t mean-spirited, it is a foregone conclusion.  History (and my budget for that matter) proves that wasteful spending does not lead to prosperity.  And if this bill succeeds, we will be a socialist state.  Our health records will be a matter of public record.  Our health decisions will be made for us.  A Smart Grid will be able to one day control the energy use in our homes.  Illegal immigrants will be given more of the jobs that Americans so desperately need.  If this bill succeeds it will mean that people will embrace socialistic ways even more.  This bill will leave us so burdened with debt we will be paying for it for generations.  This bill will be monetized causing inflation.  And finally, every bit of logic and economic history would have to be thrown out because it will have been wrong.  The President might be projected as a messiah, but even he can’t bend natural law and logic.

I sent an email out to all my friends and family containing the following wording:

If you’re not outraged right now, you either don’t care or are not paying attention – exactly where the government would like all of us to be.  Now before you roll your eyes and delete this as some conservative diatribe, take a moment to see what I have to say.  Every American who is against socialism and for the Constitution should agree with me.  The following information should enrage you because the government is taking advantage of a situation that both parties have gotten us into.

The Recovery and Re-Investment Package has already passed the House in its final form and is currently being debated by the Senate,  Did you know the following facts:

1.  This final form of the bill was made available to our representatives at 11pm last night.  They have been given less than 24 hours to read a bill that is over 1,000 pages long.  As of 2pm the House had already voted.  The Senate is suppose to vote before 9pm.  How did any of our representatives even read this bill they voted for?  The bill was made available in PDF format meaning no keyword searchs could be run on it which means there is no transparency.

2.  This bill is the biggest spending bill in the history of America.

3.  This bill was pushed forward quickly today because Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has to catch a plane for an 8 day trip to Europe tonight.  Why should her work for the American people matter when she is getting an award in Italy?

4.  This bill will not fix anything in regards to the banks or housing.

5.  The House Republicans were not allowed to be a part of anything with this bill other than voting.

6.  This bill contains $200 billion for voter-fraud indicted community organizing group ACORN.

7.  This bill contains $600 billion to set up the infrastructure for universal healthcare.  Also hidden in the bill is a Medical Treatment Board that will decide which kinds of medical treatments will be available and who can receive them.

8.  All of your private medical records will be a part of public records once the electronic medical information system is up and running. 

9.  This bill sets up the components for a Smart Grid which can one day be used to allow the government to control your home’s energy use.

10.  An E-Verification Amendment that became part of the bill would require that all people obtaining jobs via this bill not be illegal immigrants.  That has been removed.  It is estimated that 300,000 illegals will be working these “American” jobs.

11.  Those tax cuts they have been promising you are an illusion.  You will not be receiving any checks.  Instead you will have a rebate that amounts to an extra $13 a week.  That is until January when the amount drops to $8.  Don’t spend it all in one place especially since the Bush tax cuts will be rolled back and inflation will have to go up because…

12….This bill is going to have to be monetized.  That means no countries will buy our debt anymore or treasury bills.  We have to buy our own debt, so we will print the money to cover the outrageous costs of this bill.  This has always ended up in inflation and even hyper-inflation meaning you can expect to pay twice as much for your bread by next year.

13.  President Obama always says this bill contains no earmarks.  That is right because none of the special projects have been attached to any specific representative.  But this bill is full of pork which is wasteful spending. 

14.  The Republicans demanded that the American people be given 48 hours to review the bill and we were denied that right.  President Obama promised to give us five days to look over bills before he would sign them.  That means he better not sign this before Thursday.  I hear they would like to have the ceremony long before that. 

This is just the beginning of the outrage.  The worst part is that your children and grandchildren will be paying for this.  I hope it was worth it – although history (and even my own budget) proves that this kind of spending never works.  You will see the stock market continue to slip.  Business will continue to close and jobs will continue to be lost.  President Obama uses the phrase “create or save” when talking about jobs because he has no idea what this bill will do and because you cannot gauge “saving”.  Mark my words, next year at this time the Americans will be cursing the government that did this.  And you probably don’t know this but secession movements have been underway throughout this country and there is rumor of another Civil War.  This is a serious matter.

I pray that liberty wins out and not enslavement under Marxism.
