Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize

Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize?!  For what?  Seriously, what has the President done in his short nine months to warrant the Nobel Peace Prize being given to him?  And why is it that most of the Americans that win the Peace Prize are completely unworthy.  For example, Jimmy Carter has won the honor and yet he is an anti-Semite.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded President Obama with the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between people.”  Where?  Please someone show me where his efforts have been extraordinary.  It really is not that difficult to go around apologizing for America in foreign nations.  What international diplomacy?  Iran continues their nuclear efforts as well as North Korea.  Obama cannot get Russia and China on board for sanctions against Iran.

The Nobel committee continued their oozing love for Obama stating, “The vision of a world free from nuclear arms has powerfully stimulated disarmament and arms control negotiations.  Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world’s attention and given its people hope for a better future.”  Let’s just make him world leader and be done with it.  Does anyone truly believe that the world will be free from nuclear weapons?  And where is the hope promised to America by Obama during the campaign?  Images from Cobo in Detroit over the past couple of days are stark reminders that hope appears to be on vacation under an Obama administration hell bent on remaking America into a Marxist state.

Obama’s name had been mentioned in speculation before the award, but many Nobel watchers had believed it was too early to award the president. Obama would have been in the White House for less than two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline for this year’s prize.

This is the way of Obama really.  Be awarded and congratulated for doing absolutely nothing.  Take credit where no credit is due is also a favorite of this President, i.e. the Porkulus Bill.  So now we see that the Nobel Peace Prize really is the joke we all thought it was.  Just like the United Nations.

Obama Bows To China, Won’t Meet With Dalai Lama

Under pressure from the Chinese, who now own America and were honored in America with their flag being raised at the White House and the Empire State Building bathed in red and yellow lights, President Obama will not be meeting with the Dalai Lama who is the spiritual leader of Buddhism and Tibet.  Since 1991, the Dalai Lama has met with every sitting president.  President George W. Bush honored the Dalai Lama with the Congressional Gold Medal.  The Dalai Lama has also received the Nobel Peace Prize.  But Obama would rather please the Chinese than give this man the respect he deserves.

The Indian Express puts it this way:

In an attempt to gain favour with China, for the first time since 1991 the US President will not meet Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama when he visits Washington this week.  President Barack Obama who is scheduled to undertake his first visit to China next month has apparently decided not to meet the Dalai Lama son as not to annoy Beijing.

“The US pressured Tibetan representatives to postpone a meeting between the Dalai Lama and President Obama until after Obama’s summit with his Chinese counterpart, Hu Jintao, scheduled for next month,” Washington Post reported.

The US decision to postpone the meeting appears to be part of a strategy to improve ties with China that also includes soft-pedaling criticism of China’s human rights and financial policies as well as backing efforts to elevate China’s position in international institutions, such as the International Monetary Fund, the report said.

So I wonder how the peace loving liberals who practice Buddhism feel about this?  Is Obama still your man since he promises to bring the whole world together?  One day, these people on the left will realize what an empty suit of broken promises Obama really is and jump off of his bandwagon.  Obama supports China rather than human rights.  And really, he has left himself little choice.  The government, including past presidents have left him little choice.  We are beholden to China, who is our enemy as long as they continue to be Red China, because they own America.  But then again, Obama would love to follow the path of China’s leadership.

Obama Moves On To Important Work Of Olympic Bid In Copenhagen

The President has spoken once in seventy days to General McChrystal in Afghanistan.  He has placed the General’s request for more troops on the back burner.  He has more important items to deal with: like Chicago’s bid for the Olympics in 2016.  The vote takes place in Copenhagen on Friday, so the President and First Lady will be flying there Thursday night.  Is this appropriate for a sitting president?  Is this appropriate at a time when the world is in turmoil and states are reporting record job losses just last month?  Is this appropriate when considering that many in Chicago would rather not have the Olympics come their way along with the expense of hosting the Olympics?

Fox News in Chicago ran a segment voicing the opinion that the Olympics were not welcome.  The Drudge Report is reporting that, “The Chicago Olympic Committee told FOX Chicago that its broadcast ‘would harm Chicago’s chances’ to be awarded the games.”

Obama will not only be joined by the First Lady, but also Valerie Jarrett, puppetmaster one, and Arne Duncan, the Education Czar.  Mayor Richard Daley said, “President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama symbolize the hope, opportunity and inspiration that makes Chicago great, and we are honored to have two of our city’s most accomplished residents leading our delegation in Copenhagen.  Who better to share with members of the International Olympic Committee the commitment and enthusiasm Chicago has for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement than the President and First Lady.”  GAG ME!  Hope and inspiration for a Marxist utopia I guess.

It will be interesting to see how this ends.  Will Obama’s rock star image be enough and how will these other cities feel if they are passed over because Obama heavy handed this Olympic push?

Wow, Obama Gets Everyone To Agree To No Nukes, Non-Binding

The leftists are tripping over each other in their rush to praise President Obama in his ability to get the United Nation’s Security Council to agree unanimously to clamp down on nuclear weapons and start dismantling stockpiles.  James Carroll of the Daily Beast wrote, ”Obama becomes the first U.S. president to chair an extraordinary session of the UN Security Council, with its nations represented by heads of state, not diplomats…It tips Obama’s hand that, because of him, the word disarmament is back. It is not too much to say that the United Nations was founded to deal with the atomic bomb.”

The New Republic’s Michael Crowley wrote, “Clearly, that’s not how Rahm Emanuel, who’s looking a little antsy, would like to schedule the president’s time. But that’s exactly why today’s session is so important, if only in a symbolic sense…The hard work of nonproliferation involves a lot of dull meetings and treaties.”

Matthew Bunn of Harvard commented, “Obama has taken a terrific step…The resolution puts the Security Council squarely behind an agenda that includes tougher responses to violations of nonproliferation treaties, stronger inspections, a ban on nuclear testing, an end to all production of nuclear materials for nuclear weapons worldwide, and steps toward the ultimate goal of a world without nuclear weapons.”

The Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder claims the resolution tangibly advances the cause of global nonproliferation and he also praised the President for bringing Russia further than they had ever come in the area of sanctions against Iran. 

The problem with all this praise is that it is as empty as the resolution, which is non-binding and doesn’t sanction anyone.  The only teeth in the measure comes when a state leaves the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT).  They are required to return any technology that has been supplied to them by other states.  Wait a minute!  Who the hell is giving these states nuclear supplies?  Oh I am sure it is just for energy, right?  The resolution also called out Israel to push them into signing the treaty.

Can liberals and the President be this naive?  None of these countries are going to dismantle.  Of course they signed up because America has volunteered to go first when it comes to disarmament.  The United Nations has proven to be another waste of time and money again.  This really turned out to just be another photo op for the President and another empty attempt to cushion his achievement list.  The real work of this resolution has been pushed off until April where nothing will be achieved again.  Every G20 follows this same path.  Talk alot, take pictures and then push everything forward to the next meeting.

The Indoctrination Continues…

The government schools will not be happy until they have indoctrinated our children to the point of Hitler’s Youth.  The second song in this video reminds me of the black and white films I have seen of German children singing about their “lord” who is Hitler.  In the first song, the children sing, “He said red, yellow, black or white, all are equal in his sight, mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama.”  I remember singing a similar song in Sunday School about Jesus.  Just a coincidence I’m sure.  And people think we are paranoid.  How many more of these videos need to surface for people to realize what is happening here.  If this had been Bush, people would have been breaking windows on the street and rioting.

Obama Humiliates America With Pandering, Narcisstic, Apologist Speech at U.N.

Just when we thought that the President could not become any more self-absorbed and pandering, we find he can after his address to the United Nations today.  This literally could go down as the weakest address ever given by an American president at this forum.  I stopped counting the “I”s, “me”s and “my”s after the first fifteen minutes.  He went on and on pointing out to his new friends that he is doing everything they want without asking them for anything in return, ranging from closing Gitmo, stopping torture, ending the war in Iraq and destroying our nuclear arsenal.  The President obviously was attempting to buy goodwill among the members, including the dictators.  He is so very naive.  These people will annihilate us the first chance they get.  Obviously,  based on the recent terror plot arrests, this country is still a target even under the leadership of Obama.

Obama continued to embellish the global warming lie blaming America for much of the trouble we are having with that.  Bolivia’s president pointed the finger squarely at America as well as he blamed capitalism for the world’s woes and coming imminent destruction.  Obama said, “More and more nations with nuclear weapons.  Melting ice caps and ravaged populations. Persistent poverty and pandemic disease. I say this not to sow fear, but to state a fact: the magnitude of our challenges has yet to be met by the measure of our action.”  Where is this happening?  For the true items, they are occurring in countries lorded over by despots.  And we cannot change them.  Then the President quoted Roosevelt – his socialist hero.

The President went on to describe his idea for a new global order held up by four pillars: disarmament, promotion of peace and security, the preservation of the planet and a global economy that benefits everyone (read: socialism).  The President obviously thinks that apologizing for America will get the world to follow our lead in these areas.  He is so naive.  Russia is ramping up their nuclear stockpile.  Iran is starting to build a nuclear stockpile.  North Korea has been test firing their nuclear arsenal.  China is building their military.  Our enemies are ramping up their efforts and he appears to be clueless to those facts.  He also promised to reach some kind of Middle East peace agreement even as he proclaimed that America does not recognize the legitimacy of Israeli settlements.

The most asinine part of the speech addressed climate change.  Even as scientists have debunked the myths surrounding global warming and world temperatures reveal that the planet is cooling, the President claimed, “The danger posed by climate change cannot be denied, and our responsibility to meet it must not be deferred. If we continue down our current course, every member of this Assembly will see irreversible changes within their borders. Our efforts to end conflicts will be eclipsed by wars over refugees and resources. Development will be devastated by drought and famine. Land that human beings have lived on for millennia will disappear. Future generations will look back and wonder why we refused to act – why we failed to pass on intact the environment that was our inheritance.  That is why the days when America dragged its feet on this issue are over. We will move forward with investments to transform our energy economy, while providing incentives to make clean energy the profitable kind of energy. We will press ahead with deep cuts in emissions to reach the goals that we set for 2020, and eventually 2050. We will continue to promote renewable energy and efficiency – and share new technologies – with countries around the world. And we will seize every opportunity for progress to address this threat in a cooperative effort with the whole world.”  No, Mr. President, future generations will look back and wonder what was so worth our giving up America’s freedom.

Here’s what I would say if I was president:  “Screw you all!  America is autonomous and we will not bear any nation that attacks us.  We will share alliances with any country that agrees to be in alliance with us and proves that by helping us fight terrorism and despots around the world.  We no longer will be a member of the United Nations and you will need to find a new place to meet because our free market will be using this building for business from now on.  You will receive no more money from us, but we will continue to be charitable to the underpriviledged by supplying food and medical supplies ourselves via various charities in America.  Hugo, Ineedajob, Kadaffy, and the rest of you dictators, kiss my a$$!”

But we are talking about a man raised by Marxists, taught by Marxists, befriended by Marxists, mentored by Marxists and married to a Marxist, so he actually envies the Castro brothers and Hugo Chavez.  And as long as we live under a leader like that, America will be in very real danger.

Obama’s Media Tour Falls Flat

President Obama continues to function from a place of desperation when it comes to his plans for healthcare reform and used this past Sunday as another opportunity to plead his case.  He appeared on a total of five Sunday morning news programs ranging from ABC to Univision.  He skipped FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace, which was a gargantuan mistake.  Whether that move was an attempt to avoid tough questions or punishment for FOX’s not airing the President’s last speech in primetime is unknown, but it is certain that the administration is arrogant about ignoring FOX by releasing a statement that inferred that FOX would probably rather airing a dancing program instead.  Obviously, primetime shows do not air in the morning so this kind of blatant snide attack on FOX only puts Obama in a less than flattering light.  The media tour fell flat with no new information and a few tough questions left the President stammering.  This President seems to think that the more he talks about healthcare, the more he will convince the people they need his plan.  Unfortunately, his answers to some questions only revealed that he thinks the American people are too stupid to figure out what is best for them.

Here was an exchange on This Week with George Stephanopoulos:

STEPHANOPOULOS: But have your — have some of your allies made it easier for — handed your opponents some ammunition, like ACORN, for example…

OBAMA: Well, look, the — you know, I think that — are there folks in the Democratic camp or on the left who haven’t — haven’t always operated in ways that I’d appreciate? Absolutely.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Congress said they should cut off all funding for ACORN.
OBAMA: Is — is — is…
STEPHANOPOULOS: How about the funding for ACORN?
OBAMA: You know, it’s — frankly, it’s not really something I’ve followed closely. I didn’t even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.

If this answer does not enrage the public and wake them up to the corruption within the adminstration, I do not know what will.  The President invited ACORN to the table, even before he was sworn in, to help plan his agenda.  He worked for ACORN.  He knows damn well that they get federal money!  And not following this scandal closely?!  That could be true since he probably only watches NBC, but the reality is that the President is surrounded by people who are paid to know everything and keep him informed.  He knows perfectly well what has been happening.  He just wants to pretend that no one is watching FOX and stick his finger in their eye by not appearing on their network and pretending like their huge breaking story that will make history is not even a blip on the screen of news.

So the President does not think increasing money on people is a tax increase.  I love that George looked up the definition of tax increase and then the President rejects the definition.  I guess he’ll be writing the next dictionary.  And the lies continue…

ACORN, The Unions And Obama

The trifecta of corruption, insider community organizing and crime is oozing towards the surface of an Alinksy/Chicago government thugocracy like pus drawn from a wound.  Our initial worries over some unholy alliances of candidate Obama with the likes of  Bill Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis and Jeremiah Wright were just the beginning of what we would discover after Obama became president.  We did not pay as much attention to the groups that Obama associated himself with and worked for, nor the groups that filled his campaign coffers.  Or should I say that mainstream America did not pay attention.  Now they must after several tapes have surfaced via Glenn Beck and Andrew Breitbart’s BigGovernment.com of an undercover operation within ACORN proving that this community organization has more than just voter fraud charges to worry about.  Currently five offices from several different states in America have been taped offering advise in how to engage in criminal activities like money laundering, tax evasion and underage prostitution.

ACORN has flown under the radar for decades.  The Presidency of Barack Obama has brought an illuminating light over the inner workings of ACORN.  During the 2008 Presidential Campaign, allegations of voter fraud surfaced as dead people were registered to vote and even cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse.  ACORN had sent out young people to get people registered to vote and they threw those young people under the bus claiming they were rogue employees when the allegations came to light.  The media quietly dropped the story and everyone moved on.  The Obama administration would later reward ACORN for all their hard work in getting him elected with putting them in charge of the government 2010 Census.  No mainstream media made mention of the voter fraud charges again although nine states have charged ACORN employees with crimes and convicted thirty of them.

Now that FOX News and Brietbart have aired the undercover videos over the past week, the country is paying attention to ACORN again and has become outraged.  Mainstream Media elite like Charlie Gibson continue to ignore the story, pretending they no nothing about the story even as the Census Bureau has ripped away the census count from ACORN and the Senate voted 83 to 7 to de-fund ACORN and the House is expected to do the same thing.  Any promised Porkulus funds have been stopped.  It is important to note that of the seven morally bankrupt Senators who voted to continue funding ACORN, two of them are from Illinois.  It is also important to note that President Obama is from Chicago, Illinois and worked as a lawyer for ACORN and trained their employees.  The President has made no comment himself about these new allegations, but the Spokesmoron Gibbs has stated “Obviously the conduct you see on those tapes is completely unacceptable.  The administration takes accountability extremely seriously.”  Are these just more rogue ACORN employees?  At what point do we stop considering these people rogue and assume that this is how these people are trained; Trained by people like Barack Obama; Trained to follow the Alinsky, Rules For Radicals?

Then there is the matter of the labor unions and their connections to all of this.  Obviously, unions are Democrat financiers and they heavily padded Obama’s campaign fund.  Obama spoke before ACORN and the unions before his inauguration promising them that they would be brought to the table to help plan his agenda.  One of those agenda pieces is ObamaCare and ACORN has lobbied heavily for Obama on that.  Obama speaks regularly before the unions, most recently on Labor Day and also yesterday.  He spoke before the United Auto Workers this week as well.  The SEIU turned out at August townhalls to push ObamaCare.  The former head of ACORN, Dale Rafke who had to leave the organization in 2000 after embezzling one million dollars from it, now is the head of the SEIU.  His brother Wade Rafke still heads up ACORN.  The SEIU and ACORN share the same headquarters in New Orleans.  And the AFL-CIO works with ACORN as well pushing other charitable community organizations like the United Way.

There can be no doubt that ACORN, the unions and Obama are heavily linked to each other.  Many people that are part of the Obama administration are linked to these groups as well.  The Communist former Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones, now works for the SEIU.  Hard working, middle class Americans pay dues to these unions who turn around and screw these same employees via the government.  No country can mix these groups and have anything but corruption and cronyism as the result.  It is no surprise that freedom is eroding and government intrusion is growing.  The job of community organizations is to follow the Marxist plan of taking from those that have to give to those that do not have and will not work to attain it.  They want their own idea of social justice.  And because so many Americans walked blindly into the polling booth and pulled the lever for “history”, we find ourselves in an epic battle that will be hard to win.  All of these groups are heavily funded.  ACORN alone has received $53 million dollars in federal money over the years and responded unconcerned over Congress’ move to de-fund them replying they receive plenty of private funds.  And since they work hand in hand with unions who bilk laborers heavily, there will be funds available there as well. 

We must also keep in mind that ACORN is just one piece of the puzzle.  The New Orleans headquarters houses hundreds of organizations all working under the umbrella of ACORN, but hidden in plain sight.  We must clean out the corruption in Washington!  We have dealt a blow to ACORN, but it will rise again.  We must continue and we must call on the White House and Congress to investgate.  Not just these organizations though.  We want our representatives investigated as well.  Who else is connected to all this muck?  I believe we should start with Illinois and Vermont.  All four Senators from these states voted in favor of ACORN and we must know why.  We must also call out the media.  Stop watching and reading until they decide to start telling us the truth and investigating instead of bloviating with their biased agendas.

My Thoughts On The Obama Address To Our School Children

There has been much outcry across the nation over a planned speech to be given by President Obama to America’s school children tomorrow.  The voices of dissention were so loud, that a lesson plan constructed by the Department of Education had to be re-worded.  A fairly tame and inspiring speech accompanied by the lesson plan appeared to be just a narcissistic stroke of himself for the President and revealed the true intentions of the Obama administration – to indoctrinate our children into a feeling of servitude to the government.  A request for students to write letters to the President about how they intended to serve him has been changed in the lesson plan to writing individual goals and how each student will attain them.  Leading questions like how the President’s speech inspired the children were also troublesome.  This all leads me to wonder what the original speech was truly going to be because I believe this one is a sanitized and re-worded version.  The remarks have been released by the White House and I will comment here on the areas of issue.

Most of the beginning of the speech references Obama’s early childhood and his education in Indonesia – minus the details we all want to know like where are the transcripts and what was he taught in Muslim schools.  He also will point out the obvious: that most of these kids wish summer was still going and that they were still in bed.  The first quote that catches my eye is this one, “I’ve talked a lot about your government’s responsibility for setting high standards, supporting teachers and principals, and turning around schools that aren’t working where students aren’t getting the opportunities they deserve.”  The Department of Education is unConstitutional and thus the government does not have a responsibility for setting standards and the like.  The Teachers’ Unions have made our education system the laughing stock of the world as we turn out children who can barely read, spell without using texting slang or add without a calculator.  Most schools will no longer teach cursive writing leaving our children in a precarious place in the future seeing as that most of the Y Generation, X Generation, Baby Boomers and prior all write in cursive – it will be a foreign language to these kids.  And schools waste the precious little time they have on mindless topics.  For example, the President’s speech.

The President goes on to claim that “this isn’t just important for your own life and your own future. What you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country. What you’re learning in school today will determine whether we as a nation can meet our greatest challenges in the future.”  That is what is terrifying because we know these kids are being indoctrinated in the school of political correctness, dumbdowned facts and plain lies.  Anybody see Tucker Carlson’s expose on FOX News this weekend about textbooks?

Here is where the President treads lightly into the politics he believes in so strongly:  “You’ll need the knowledge and problem-solving skills you learn in science and math to cure diseases like cancer and AIDS, and to develop new energy technologies and protect our environment. You’ll need the insights and critical thinking skills you gain in history and social studies to fight poverty and homelessness, crime and discrimination, and make our nation more fair and more free. You’ll need the creativity and ingenuity you develop in all your classes to build new companies that will create new jobs and boost our economy.”  There it is, the politics of social justice and climate change.  The schools will teach children the insights and critical thinking they need, not their parents.  Is that really what all those history classes were about in school when I attended?  To help me fight poverty?  What the hell is this about making our nation more fair and more free?  We were the most free nation on the planet until these Progressives started wielding their power at the beginning of the last century.  They are moving towards ripping away more of our rights now.  And whose definition of “fair” are we using?

The President said, “Maybe you’ll decide to get involved in an extracurricular activity, or volunteer in your community.”  Hmm…I thought that these kids would have mandatory servitude under the GIVE Act.  And the President strokes his ego here with, “Your families, your teachers, and I are doing everything we can to make sure you have the education you need to answer these questions. I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn.”  Wow, the President is doing all of this himself!  Fixing up those schools will make such a difference!

And finally he wields his authoritarian nature like Big Daddy (Big Brother) and says, “So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So don’t let us down – don’t let your family or your country or yourself down.”  Oh, do not cross him!

I bet those kids will be so inspired after this that they will rocket this country forward.  Actually, I’m placing bets half of them will be asleep and a fourth of them will have spent the better part of this time passing notes back and forth or secretly texting.  I do not care who the President is, stay out of the classroom and shut down that damn failure called the Department of Education and reform education so that all kids have the same fair chance at a great education with things like vouchers.

How Obama Will Convince America We Need ObamaCare

Government healthcare in America has hit a major brickwall.   That brickwall is an outraged and skeptical American public.  Millions of American citizens have gathered in cities across the United States over the past six months, increasing in numbers and frequency in August, resulting in a huge shift in popularity for the President in polls and a lockdown on any form of healthcare reform that the Democrats have introduced.  The American people will not accept a government option in any form whether it is dubbed “public”, “co-op” or “trigger”.  Nancy “PlastiGirl” Pelosi is desperate as she continues to inform the President that no reform will pass the House without a public option and centrist Democrats claim they will not pass a bill that does contain a public option.  Confusion reigns supreme in Washington as different declarations are espoused from advisors, spokespeople and leaders.  One minute we are informed that a public option is necessary and the next we are told that the public option is not necessary.  And we are told that everyone is ready to compromise even though no bi-partisan agreements have been floated publicly.

President Obama has planned his 112th (I lost count?) speech on healthcare as his third primetime address on the topic on September 9th in front of both Houses of Congress.  So what is the President going to say that will erase the confusion and convince us to follow his lead on healthcare reform?  Absolutely nothing will work because the only people who will bother to watch this drivel are the informed in America.  What the President needs is a crisis because that is what it took for President Bush to cram TARP down our throats and for Obama to cram the Porkulus Bill down our throats.  Unfortunately, neither of those immense government spending packages worked and the country is now very skeptical.  Government healthcare in other nations has proven to be disastrous and freedom-loving Americans will not allow such government intrusion in our lives.  Rahm Emanuel is promising that this speech will finish the job – that we will be convinced.  So how will the President induce a sense of crisis?

There does not seem to be enough time over the weekend to convince us that a Pandemic is upon us or develop the much needed manufactured crisis.  So the only option for Obama seems to be convincing Americans that we all need this reform and now.  Unfortunately, a CBS poll claims that less than a fifth of Americans say a health-care overhaul will help them personally.  And 31 percent think the government’s efforts will hurt while 46 percent say it will have no effect.  This appears to be a mountain that the President will not be able to climb.  So apparently, Wednesday night is going to be a waste of all of our time and will amount to a huge revenue loss for any networks ignorant enough to air the speech.

I personally will be listening to the speech so that I can give it the proper ridicule it will deserve while I create another sign for the next grassroots rally or protest.  The Progressives will not win on this one.  Even if they continue to step outside the bounds of the Constitution and pass healthcare reform using reconciliation, they will not win.  An outraged American public will not stand for that and our representatives do not want to witness what an outraged public will do – I suggest another Boston Tea Party with Representatives serving as our tea.  Hope Nancy, Harry, Barney, Schmuck and Obama know how to swim.
