America’s Nightmare Ends Now

As a freedom-loving individual, I abhor anything that attempts to destroy that freedom or abridge that freedom in any way.  There is a Progressive movement afoot in the country that is attempting to do just that and it seems to me that the slumbering majority of Americans have awoken to a nightmare.  Many people accuse me of being racist or just plain hating the President because of my criticism of him.  People apparently cannot get beyond that point enough to realize that it is the ideology, the policies, the friendships and the lies that I am critiquing.  And this is not just about the President.  This is about a Progressive history that permeates community organizations, the court system, Congress, local government, public education, the media and Hollywood.  These groups believe that our sacred documents are fundamentally flawed and living – thus they can be changed and need to be changed.  The three branches of government are sworn to uphold the Constitution and protect it from all enemies foreign and domestic.  Unfortunately, they have become the domestic threat.

I have said that our President wants to be friends with America’s enemies, which must mean that he is the enemy.  I believe the same is true for the entire government save for a few souls who still hold to our Founding Principles.  What can we do when it seems that we are surrounded and that there is nothing we can do to change our circumstances?  A woman on Rush Limbaugh’s show today expressed this same feeling of outrage and slide into hopelessness, but then she pulled herself up and remarked that we are winning.  It does not matter that the media pays us little attention and when they do it is to poke fun.  Limbaugh let this woman speak for at least ten minutes uninterrupted and she spoke for millions of people.  The only thing she got wrong was that she insisted that we needed Rush to inspire us and give us hope and Rush was quick to point out later what was obvious about this caller.  She was the inspirer.  Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Levine and the like can help keep us informed and motivated, but it is We The People who make the real difference.

We can stop the nightmare and we already are splitting the Progressive movement at the seams.  Government healthcare is going nowhere do in large part to our efforts on the ground.  The year 2010 is looking to be a year of great transition and real change for America.  ACORN is being defeated and crying like a baby as it loses funding and lashes out at those who have brought this giant down.  Obama’s czars are being brought into the light and revealed one-at-a-time for the Marxists and traitors that they are.  One has fallen and more will follow.  Community organizations of  every variety are falling under scrutiny.  Congress has been hearing from us very clearly and boldly.  We are bringing God back into the public square.  Americans are taking back their country.

The world is moving to the right and so what sense does it make for America to move to the left?  That makes about as much sense as Michael Moore calling capitalism “evil” even as he makes money off of the documentary dedicated to that ideology.  Common sense is making a comeback.  Americans will not long bear public schools that indoctrinate their children to worship a human leader.  Americans will not long bear a government that spends their children’s future.  Americans will not long bear a movement that drives to erase their children’s freedom.  If not for us, we must do this for the children.  We must educate and empower ourselves and each other.  We have been given unalienable rights from God and no one can or will take those away.

What can you do?  If you are still on the couch, get up!  Most people are off the couch and just need to continue what they are doing.  Something as small as talking to neighbors and family, emailing your representatives, calling the White House switchboard, making a sign and attending a rally all make a difference.  The greatest difference takes place inside of you as you realize that the power of the government lies within you.  We can end America’s nightmare now before it is too late.  We will end the nightmare!

Gamaliel And Barack Obama

How many more of these videos of people and children worshipping Obama and revelations of nefarious connections between Obama and community organizing groups have to happen before Americans realize that we are in a waking nightmare with our current leadership?  Most of this information was revealed during the campaign, but no one was paying attention.  Now it is a full on fight for our country and citizen journalists, bloggers, radio show hosts, FOX News and concerned citizens are getting this information out as quickly as we can get it out.  BreitbartTV has posted a video of a gathering of a group called Gamaliel that you must see.   Deliver us Obama?!

So who exactly is this group Gamaliel and what is Obama’s connection to that group?  Pamela Gellar of Atlas Shrugs has dug up much information on those questions.  President Obama was a former Gamaliel organizer.  He was a lawyer for ACORN.  Both these groups use the principles of Saul Alinsky, which we have watched the White House continue to use as Obama continues his campaigning for his Marxist policies.  How can a President that adopted and worked for organizations that promoted anti-American ideology possibly do anything for the benefit of America?  Does anyone still wonder why the President places America in a precarious place security-wise and apologizes for America any chance he is given the opportunity?  No wonder he wants to be liked by our enemies – he is the enemy! 

Stanley Kurtz researched Gamaliel back in November 2008 and wrote in the National Review, “The same separatist, anti-American theology of liberation that was so boldly and bitterly proclaimed by Obama’s pastor is shared, if more quietly, by Obama’s Gamaliel colleagues. The operative word here is “quietly.” Gamaliel specializes in ideological stealth, and Obama, a master student of Gamaliel strategy, shows disturbing signs of being a sub rosa radical himself. Obama’s legislative tactics, as well as his persistent professions of non-ideological pragmatism, appear to be inspired by his radical mentors’ most sophisticated tactics. Not only has Obama studied, taught, and apparently absorbed stealth techniques from radical groups like Gamaliel and ACORN, but in his position as a board member of Chicago’s supposedly nonpartisan Woods Fund, he quietly funneled money to his radical allies — at the very moment he most needed their support to boost his political career. It’s high time for these shadowy, perhaps improper, ties to receive a dose of sunlight…The Gamaliel connection appears to supply a solution to the riddle of Obama’s mysterious political persona. On one hand, he likes to highlight his days as a community organizer — a profession with proudly radical roots in the teachings of Chicago’s Saul Alinsky, author of the highly influential text Rules for Radicals. Obama even goes so far as to make the community-organizer image a metaphor for his distinctive conception of elective office. On the other hand, Obama presents himself as a post-ideological, consensus-minded politician who favors pragmatic, common-sense solutions to the issues of the day. How can Obama be radical and post-radical at the same time?”

The Gamaliel Foundation posts their mission as this, “The mission of Gamaliel Foundation is to assist local community leaders to create, maintain and expand independent, grassroots, and powerful faith-based community organizations so that ordinary people can impact the political, social, economic, and environmental decisions that affect their lives; to provide these organizations with leadership training programs, consultation, research and analysis on social justice issues;  to be a network for mutual learning environments and working coalitions.”  They claim that their vision propels us to a “more perfect union”.  The detals of this vision can be found here and include ”collectively transform our society and bring about justice locally, nationally and globally.”

As an interesting side note, I looked up Gamaliel on Wikipedia and the word is the Greek form of the Hebrew word for “gift of God”.  Since this group comes from a religious foundation, I believe that is no coincidence.  And now Gamliel has given us their gift from God – Barack Obama.

Obama Moves On To Important Work Of Olympic Bid In Copenhagen

The President has spoken once in seventy days to General McChrystal in Afghanistan.  He has placed the General’s request for more troops on the back burner.  He has more important items to deal with: like Chicago’s bid for the Olympics in 2016.  The vote takes place in Copenhagen on Friday, so the President and First Lady will be flying there Thursday night.  Is this appropriate for a sitting president?  Is this appropriate at a time when the world is in turmoil and states are reporting record job losses just last month?  Is this appropriate when considering that many in Chicago would rather not have the Olympics come their way along with the expense of hosting the Olympics?

Fox News in Chicago ran a segment voicing the opinion that the Olympics were not welcome.  The Drudge Report is reporting that, “The Chicago Olympic Committee told FOX Chicago that its broadcast ‘would harm Chicago’s chances’ to be awarded the games.”

Obama will not only be joined by the First Lady, but also Valerie Jarrett, puppetmaster one, and Arne Duncan, the Education Czar.  Mayor Richard Daley said, “President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama symbolize the hope, opportunity and inspiration that makes Chicago great, and we are honored to have two of our city’s most accomplished residents leading our delegation in Copenhagen.  Who better to share with members of the International Olympic Committee the commitment and enthusiasm Chicago has for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement than the President and First Lady.”  GAG ME!  Hope and inspiration for a Marxist utopia I guess.

It will be interesting to see how this ends.  Will Obama’s rock star image be enough and how will these other cities feel if they are passed over because Obama heavy handed this Olympic push?

Iran Thumbs Its Nose At World – Begins War Games

The world really put Iran on notice this past week at the United Nations.  Iran is so worried about the world’s threats of sanctions and President Obama’s threats of more diplomacy that they have taken it upon themselves to begin war games the very week that they are scheduled to take part in a meeting with world leaders to discuss their nuclear program.  The Financial Times is reporting, ”Iran maintained its defiance on Sunday, launching war games with short-range missile tests and warning that the uproar over its second uranium enrichment plant would undermine this week’s talks with world powers.  Official media reported that the three-day manoeuvres by the elite Revolutionary Guard would also include test-firing the longer-range Shahab 3 missile that raise concerns in the west.  Iran says the missile, which has been tested in the past, has a range of 2,000km, putting within its reach Israel and US bases in the Gulf.  The war games come at a time of rising international furore over Iran’s nuclear programme and growing suspicions about Tehran’s claims that its nuclear activities are purely peaceful.”

Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, said about Iran’s announcement that they would allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect their recently announced second nuclear reactor, “it is always welcome when Iran makes a decision to comply with the international rules and regulations, particularly with respect to the IAEA,” and that she hopes Iran “comes and shares with all of us what they are willing to do and give us a timetable on which they are willing to proceed”.

Oh, they are sharing their intentions alright!  Are these people blind?  I truly believe Iran has no intention of allowing its reactor to be inspected and these war games are specifically being used to show the world that Iran does not care what we think or desire.  Pres. Ineedajob said as much when he heard President Sarkozy of France and Prime Minister Brown of Britain criticize Iran for building this new reactor in violation of international law.

The most worrisome thing here is that there appears to be no good outcome.  Either the world allows Iran to become a nuclear power or they allow Israel to take care of this issue, which will launch World War III and I believe will lead us into endtimes prophesy.

Obama Puts Afghanistan On Back Burner

Mr. President, if you do not plan on listening to the commander you chose and do not plan on victory, then please bring our men and women home.

Obama has more important things to take care of, like socialising America, to take the time to coordinate a different plan then the one he already laid out in March for Afghanistan.  This President proved over the past week at the United Nations and G20 that he is an imbecile when it comes to foreign relations and America’s security and this move to table General McChrystal’s request for more troops leaves me wondering just exactly how much does Obama hate America?

Of course, my friends and non-friends on the left will accuse me of hyperbole, but there really is no other way to describe Obama’s feelings about America when analyzing his statements and actions from the start of his campaign all the way through to the present.  He believes the Constitution is “fundamentally flawed”, that America is to blame for much of the world’s woes and regularly apologizes for us, he continuously moves to make America less safe by doing away with serious interrogations of our enemies, placating our enemies, bowing to our enemies and trying everything possible to be liked personally by our enemies.  And now he has proven that he is not serious about winning in Afghanistan, which is the war he lead us to believe that he supports.

Bob Woodward in the Washington Post is reporting that Obama’s national security advisor, retired General Jim Jones said, “I don’t have a deadline in my mind. I think the most important thing is to do it right. But it is going to have a high priority in the administration to do this pretty relentlessly. We have a lot of other things on the table as well.”  What things?  More important than this?  The General also maintained that Obama has set no deadline for a decision despite the urgent request.  The President does realize that war waits for no one and his act of indecision emboldens the enemy, right?  The Britains are calling our President a “panty-waist” for heaven’s sake.

It is true that this war has become more complicated than Iraq and that the recent elections make for uncertainty about the leadership of Afghanistan, but I do not trust our President to make the right decisions or give this the effort it deserves.  He wants to hold several meetings over the coming months and stretch this out, which would appear to make him look like he is trying to be thoughtful, but in reality is the tactic of procrastination that he regularly uses.  We are watching it with the pullout in Iraq and with Gitmo.  He pushes the hard decisions off like a teenager pushing off their homework, hoping beyond hope that he will never have to get to the work.

My main point is this, and I felt this with the way Bush went about fighting both these wars, if you are not going to give this everything we have and let the military actually fight this thing, then bring our troops home and secure our nation heavily to keep the terrorists from getting us here at home.  Bush did not do that and I do not expect Obama to do that either.

Wow, Obama Gets Everyone To Agree To No Nukes, Non-Binding

The leftists are tripping over each other in their rush to praise President Obama in his ability to get the United Nation’s Security Council to agree unanimously to clamp down on nuclear weapons and start dismantling stockpiles.  James Carroll of the Daily Beast wrote, ”Obama becomes the first U.S. president to chair an extraordinary session of the UN Security Council, with its nations represented by heads of state, not diplomats…It tips Obama’s hand that, because of him, the word disarmament is back. It is not too much to say that the United Nations was founded to deal with the atomic bomb.”

The New Republic’s Michael Crowley wrote, “Clearly, that’s not how Rahm Emanuel, who’s looking a little antsy, would like to schedule the president’s time. But that’s exactly why today’s session is so important, if only in a symbolic sense…The hard work of nonproliferation involves a lot of dull meetings and treaties.”

Matthew Bunn of Harvard commented, “Obama has taken a terrific step…The resolution puts the Security Council squarely behind an agenda that includes tougher responses to violations of nonproliferation treaties, stronger inspections, a ban on nuclear testing, an end to all production of nuclear materials for nuclear weapons worldwide, and steps toward the ultimate goal of a world without nuclear weapons.”

The Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder claims the resolution tangibly advances the cause of global nonproliferation and he also praised the President for bringing Russia further than they had ever come in the area of sanctions against Iran. 

The problem with all this praise is that it is as empty as the resolution, which is non-binding and doesn’t sanction anyone.  The only teeth in the measure comes when a state leaves the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT).  They are required to return any technology that has been supplied to them by other states.  Wait a minute!  Who the hell is giving these states nuclear supplies?  Oh I am sure it is just for energy, right?  The resolution also called out Israel to push them into signing the treaty.

Can liberals and the President be this naive?  None of these countries are going to dismantle.  Of course they signed up because America has volunteered to go first when it comes to disarmament.  The United Nations has proven to be another waste of time and money again.  This really turned out to just be another photo op for the President and another empty attempt to cushion his achievement list.  The real work of this resolution has been pushed off until April where nothing will be achieved again.  Every G20 follows this same path.  Talk alot, take pictures and then push everything forward to the next meeting.

The Indoctrination Continues…

The government schools will not be happy until they have indoctrinated our children to the point of Hitler’s Youth.  The second song in this video reminds me of the black and white films I have seen of German children singing about their “lord” who is Hitler.  In the first song, the children sing, “He said red, yellow, black or white, all are equal in his sight, mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama.”  I remember singing a similar song in Sunday School about Jesus.  Just a coincidence I’m sure.  And people think we are paranoid.  How many more of these videos need to surface for people to realize what is happening here.  If this had been Bush, people would have been breaking windows on the street and rioting.

Obama Humiliates America With Pandering, Narcisstic, Apologist Speech at U.N.

Just when we thought that the President could not become any more self-absorbed and pandering, we find he can after his address to the United Nations today.  This literally could go down as the weakest address ever given by an American president at this forum.  I stopped counting the “I”s, “me”s and “my”s after the first fifteen minutes.  He went on and on pointing out to his new friends that he is doing everything they want without asking them for anything in return, ranging from closing Gitmo, stopping torture, ending the war in Iraq and destroying our nuclear arsenal.  The President obviously was attempting to buy goodwill among the members, including the dictators.  He is so very naive.  These people will annihilate us the first chance they get.  Obviously,  based on the recent terror plot arrests, this country is still a target even under the leadership of Obama.

Obama continued to embellish the global warming lie blaming America for much of the trouble we are having with that.  Bolivia’s president pointed the finger squarely at America as well as he blamed capitalism for the world’s woes and coming imminent destruction.  Obama said, “More and more nations with nuclear weapons.  Melting ice caps and ravaged populations. Persistent poverty and pandemic disease. I say this not to sow fear, but to state a fact: the magnitude of our challenges has yet to be met by the measure of our action.”  Where is this happening?  For the true items, they are occurring in countries lorded over by despots.  And we cannot change them.  Then the President quoted Roosevelt – his socialist hero.

The President went on to describe his idea for a new global order held up by four pillars: disarmament, promotion of peace and security, the preservation of the planet and a global economy that benefits everyone (read: socialism).  The President obviously thinks that apologizing for America will get the world to follow our lead in these areas.  He is so naive.  Russia is ramping up their nuclear stockpile.  Iran is starting to build a nuclear stockpile.  North Korea has been test firing their nuclear arsenal.  China is building their military.  Our enemies are ramping up their efforts and he appears to be clueless to those facts.  He also promised to reach some kind of Middle East peace agreement even as he proclaimed that America does not recognize the legitimacy of Israeli settlements.

The most asinine part of the speech addressed climate change.  Even as scientists have debunked the myths surrounding global warming and world temperatures reveal that the planet is cooling, the President claimed, “The danger posed by climate change cannot be denied, and our responsibility to meet it must not be deferred. If we continue down our current course, every member of this Assembly will see irreversible changes within their borders. Our efforts to end conflicts will be eclipsed by wars over refugees and resources. Development will be devastated by drought and famine. Land that human beings have lived on for millennia will disappear. Future generations will look back and wonder why we refused to act – why we failed to pass on intact the environment that was our inheritance.  That is why the days when America dragged its feet on this issue are over. We will move forward with investments to transform our energy economy, while providing incentives to make clean energy the profitable kind of energy. We will press ahead with deep cuts in emissions to reach the goals that we set for 2020, and eventually 2050. We will continue to promote renewable energy and efficiency – and share new technologies – with countries around the world. And we will seize every opportunity for progress to address this threat in a cooperative effort with the whole world.”  No, Mr. President, future generations will look back and wonder what was so worth our giving up America’s freedom.

Here’s what I would say if I was president:  “Screw you all!  America is autonomous and we will not bear any nation that attacks us.  We will share alliances with any country that agrees to be in alliance with us and proves that by helping us fight terrorism and despots around the world.  We no longer will be a member of the United Nations and you will need to find a new place to meet because our free market will be using this building for business from now on.  You will receive no more money from us, but we will continue to be charitable to the underpriviledged by supplying food and medical supplies ourselves via various charities in America.  Hugo, Ineedajob, Kadaffy, and the rest of you dictators, kiss my a$$!”

But we are talking about a man raised by Marxists, taught by Marxists, befriended by Marxists, mentored by Marxists and married to a Marxist, so he actually envies the Castro brothers and Hugo Chavez.  And as long as we live under a leader like that, America will be in very real danger.

Does Entire Obama Administration Believe We Are Unruly Teenagers?

The Washington Examiner has reported some comments made by the Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu, that on the surface piss me off, but have a dark undercurrent.  I know the mainstream media likes to use “dark undercurrent” to describe tea parties, but when looking at the Secretary’s comments, I believe that is the most accurate way to describe them.  Steven Chu said, “the American public…just like your teenage kids, aren’t acting in a way that they should act. The American public has to really understand in their core how important this issue is.” 

And the EPA is joining this fight to get us all to understand how important it is for them to control our homes and lives.  “The administration aims to teach them—literally. The Environmental Protection Agency is focusing on real children. Partnering with the Parent Teacher Organization, the agency earlier this month launched a cross-country tour of 6,000 schools to teach students about climate change and energy efficiency. We’re showing people across the country how energy efficiency can be part of what they do every day,” said EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson. “Confronting climate change, saving money on our utility bills, and reducing our use of heavily-polluting energy can be as easy as making a few small changes.”  So they need to indoctrinate all of us like children, including the children.  We just do not know what is good for us.
