We Still Have Work To Do On Crap & Tax

Another poll has surfaced today from the libtards at the Washington Post and ABC focusing on the currently stalled Crap & Tax Bill. Supposedly, 55% of Americans approve of the way President Obama is handling energy issues (pardon me, but what has he done – are we drilling?) and 52% back the Crap & Tax Bill. If this poll is accurate, and we should err on the side that it is accurate, we still have work to do informing the public about what this bill will do to our country. Obviously, these Americans are not informed on the facts.  This bill will kill business and raise their energy bills.  In Florida, we are already in a huge fight to get our skyrocketing energy bills down and that is before this load of dung has passed.  The President promised that his plans would bankrupt the coal industry and that energy bills would go up.  If people would only listen to the President, they would know exactly what he plans to do to this country.  He hides very little.  People just do not want to believe.

Our focus has been on healthcare, but we must be watching everything because these Washington thugs on both sides of the aisle are making deals with the devil.  We have to continue informing the people of exactly what this government intends to do to them and their lives.

Democrats Bringin’ The Astroturf!

The patriotic resistance sweeping across the nation has had such an effect on the political scene and the current cram-down of ObamaCare, that the Democrats are running scared.  They were completely unprepared for an American people that knew how to organize.  The progressive left has always believed that protesting and community organizing was their domain.  They were wrong.  They have called us “racists”, “right-wing extremists”, “mobsters”, “functionally retarded” and “astroturf”.  But we are not astroturf, which to the left means a movement funded by powerful Republicans and politicians and organized by special interests.  We are everyday Americans who could no longer sit on our couches as we watched socialism gain a stronger foothold in our country.

The real astroturf is coming to a town near you in the next couple of weeks.  The left does not have enough support from regular citizens and so has to gin up support in just the way that they have been accusing of us of ginning up support.  The Democratic National Committee and a group named Organizing For America have planned hundreds of events to take place between now and the time when Congress returns to work in September.  The Politico is reporting that the plan is “to hold more than 500 events…ranging from neighborhood organized phone banks to professionally staffed rallies with hundreds of people.”  Professionally staffed rallies?!

Another special interest group will be aiding them as well:  Health Care for America Now which is a group pushing to create government-run insurance plan.  “We want members of Congress to get back to work and pass reform that means something. We need affordable care. We need real insurance regulation. And we need a strong public health insurance option,” said HCAN spokeswoman Jacki Schechner. “It’s doable and we expect it to get done now.”

DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse said of the effort, “In these last few weeks of recess we want to demonstrate the energy, passion and commitment that the American people have to health insurance reform so that when members return after Labor Day they know that they can turn their attention to getting this done because they have the backing of the American people.”  Which American people?  Over 72% of Americans like their healthcare.  There has been no overwhelming support for ObamaCare at any rallies or townhalls as of yet.

A health-insurance-reform-now bus will travel the country starting Wednesday and anchor events in 11 cities: Phoenix, Albuquerque, Denver, Des Moines, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, Charlotte, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Indianapolis and Columbus, Ohio.   Any of this new support we see now, will be tainted with the knowledge that it is the true astroturf.

My Thoughts On The Passing Of Kennedy: The Lyin’ Of The Senate

ABC News reports:  “Sen. Ted Kennedy died shortly before midnight Tuesday at his home in Hyannis Port, Mass., at age 77.  The man known as the ‘liberal lion of the Senate’ had fought a more than year-long battle with brain cancer, and according to his son had lived longer with the disease than his doctors expected him to..A hardworking, well-liked politician who became the standard-bearer of his brothers’ liberal causes, his career was clouded by allegations of personal immorality and accusations that his family’s clout helped him avoid the consequences of an accident that left a young woman dead.”

It is only eight o’clock in the morning and the wall to wall coverage is already making me sick.  Now we will have to endure the excruciating pain of a week of Teddy Kennedy on the pedestal.  We will hear all about his wonderful accomplishments in the Senate.  We will hear nothing of the truth, which is that Teddy Kennedy was nothing more than another elitist progressive politician who clung to the legacies of his two dead brothers, John and Bobby, for legitimacy.  He rallied behind government intrusion in our lives and embraced socialism.  He clamored about climate change, even as his family would not allow a wind farm to block their view.  He spoke with moral authority even as he lived like a drunkard, embarrassing himself in public and in the Senate chamber.  He was a cheater.  And despite the efforts by the media to bury one awful truth in Teddy’s past, everyone has heard of Chappaquiddick.

Time Magazine reportedin 1970, “Later in the inquest, Kennedy tried to explain one of the most incomprehensible aspects of the Kopechne case —why he failed to summon help immediately after he, his cousin Joseph Gargan and friend Paul Markham had failed to rescue Mary Jo. Said the Senator: ‘I was completely convinced . . . that no further help and assistance would do Mary Jo any more good. I realized that she must be drowned and still in the car at this time, and it appeared the question in my mind was what should be done about the accident.’”  Questions abound about the case.  Was Kennedy drunk when he drove off the bridge?  Did he intentionally let Mary Jo Kopechne die or did he kill her?  He spent a considerable amount of time mulling over how he would report the incident to police rather than alerting them immediately – something I would assume anyone would do after a terrible accident.  So let’s not forget Mary Jo as we eulogize Kennedy.

Pundits on both sides of the aisle are calling on everyone to put ideology aside for now as we remember Kennedy.  Well, other conservatives can take that route, but I’m not one to glorify someone in death who does not deserve it.  Michael Jackson was a child molestor, Marilyn Monroe was a drug addict and Teddy Kennedy did more damage to this nation than good.  Legislation he pushed through helped to set-up broken programs we cannot shake like “No Child Left Behind”.   President Barack Obama called Kennedy the greatest Senator of our time, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Advertisers Dump Fox News’ Glenn Beck

Apparently, when someone gives their opinion on the President and it is negative it is considered an attack now.  The Associated Press is running a story entitled, “Attack On Obama Riles Beck’s Advertisers.”  So the AP has passed judgement on the political opinions of Glenn Beck as attacks on the President.  And several advertisers including CVS Pharmacy, UPS, Clorox and Wal-Mart have decided that they would like Fox News to move any of their commercials out of the rotation during Glenn Beck’s show.  Never mind the 2.4 million viewers that watch the show.  And never mind patriotic Americans like myself who will not be patronizing these outlets.   How many of these advertisers pulled from shows accusing myself and millions of Americans of being racist and tea baggers and mobsters?  Does this kind of stuff only count when it is the great Obama?

Let’s look at the facts.  Behind this push to get these advertisers to drop Beck is a group by the name of ColorofChange.org which was founded by Van Jones, the Green Czar, now under scrutiny from Glenn Beck.  Van Jones is an avowed Communist and readily admits to converting to his support of Communism in prison.  Glenn did a broad expose this evening on his show about Van Jones.  Also, it is apparent to many people who are paying attention that the President does hold a racially charged deep seated anger.  Whether one calls him a racist for that or not is their decision, but I can see why someone would say such a thing.

The AP is reporting, “[Beck] actually on another Fox show July 28 when he referred to Obama as a racist with ‘ deep-seated hatred for white people.’The network immediately distanced itself from Beck’s statement, but Beck didn’t. He used his radio show the next day to explain why he believed that.”  I felt his explanation was fair.

These advertisers have every right to pull their ads from Beck’s show, but I also have the right to not give them anymore of my money.  And Glenn, stop the personal advertising you do on the radio for the UPS stores because those back stabbers don’t deserve your’s or Tanya’s kudos anymore.

Windbag Garofalo Blows Again

Somebody get me some duct tape, but not for my head this time.  I need it to hold Janeane “Windbag” Garofalo together.  She has blown up again and this time she has really lost her mind.  Well, at least what was left of her mind.  Here is what she said about patriotic American citizens at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 21, “Do you remember tea baggers?  It was just so much easier when we could just call them racists. I just don’t know why we can’t call them racists, or functionally retarded adults.”  I have a few things that I could call Ms. Garofalo, but I function on a higher plane than she could ever understand.

Garofalo continued, “The functionally retarded adults, the racists – with their cries of, ‘I want my country back’. You know what they’re really saying is, ‘I want my white guy back.’ They apparently had no problem at all for the last eight years of habeas corpus being suspended, the Constitution being [expletive] on, illegal surveillance, lied to on a war or two, two stolen elections – yes, the John Kerry one was stolen too. That’s not tin-foil hat time. That’s just…”  Unfortunately, the fact is that most conservatives had many issues that angered them about President Bush.  The left would love to believe that this is nothing more than racial tension and our desire for a white president.  I have a desire for a president who is not a Marxist!

Garofalo finished with this blather, “”This is neuroscience.  This is not politics, this is neuroscience. It is purely limbic brain activity – this emotion over being angry that there’s a black guy in office, with the people showing up armed to the health care meetings – to whatever, the town halls. But it’s just, and these tea baggers. It makes me soul sick.”  What soul?  And newsflash Janeane, the armed citizen in Arizona the left is using as some kind of poster child was just a publicity stunt.

White House Did Have Spam Email Sent

The White House played dumb when asked how unsolicitated emails about healthcare reform ended up in the boxes of taxpayers across this country.  Robert Gibbs tried to claim that the White House does not collect email addresses and that somehow they must have gotten the address through a third party.  Freedom Works, which is one of the groups sponsoring the Sept. 12th March On Washington, said that they might have inadvertantly been responsible since they direct people to sign petitions and email the White House’s website.  Now the truth comes out that the job of spamming taxpayers about ObamaCare was farmed (pharmed – lol) out to a company named Govdelivery.

Govdelivery is one of the world’s leading providers of government-to-citizen communication solutions.  The e-mail service it provides is fully-automated and an on-demand public communication system.  Govdelivery has been paid thousands of dollars in taxpayer money to send hundreds of e-mails out to supporters to help in the healthcare information battle.  These emails came from senior adviser David Axelrod.  The company has also sent out mass emails in the past after Obama’s Cairo speech and the confirmation of Sonia Sotomayor to Supreme Court Justice.  Obviously, we know now that recipients were not all supporters of the President or his healthcare reform plans.

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter of Michigan said of the revelation, “This is yet another ominous chapter in the administration’s rabid campaign to jam its radical health care scheme onto an unwilling public by any means necessary.”   And for those who would claim that the White House cannot be blamed for this since they hired an independent company to do the spamming, Chris Hansen who is a staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union told FOX News that if the White House used the private firm, it’s the same as if it had sent the e-mails.

There is no issue with Govdelivery on the topic of these healthcare emails.  They were paid to do a job they have done for several federal agencies and political figures.  The fault lies with the White House and the Obama Administration, which apparently is so aware that they are losing on this government option healthcare, that they will do anything to indoctrinate the masses.  That includes spamming them with their facts, which are easily proved to be mis-information.  If only the White House would read HR3200, ie pages 16, 50, 59, 95, 102, 124, 170 203 and so on, they would know the actual fact:  HR3200 is garbage!

Conservatives Winning Twitter Battle

Liberal bloggers have had to admit that although they had the upper hand in the world of the Internet during President Bush’s eight years and the 2008 Presidential campaign, conservatives are the reigning leaders on Twitter.  CNN quoted liberal blogger Gina Cooper who helped organize Netroots Nation as saying, ”While it is obvious the progressive blogosphere is superior, we are being out-organized on Twitter.  There is some catching up to do on the progressive side.”

Tracy Viselli who attended the liberal activist gathering, Netroots Nation, agreed saying, “”Twitter is a news funnel.  Conservatives are very tightly knit and getting their message out very well.”  And I would have to agree.  Twitter is constantly tweeting news stories and opinions from the conservative side as stories break and live tweeting press conferences, townhalls and speeches.

“Twitter is the best example of the most modern technology and how folks are organizing,” David All, a GOP new media consultant who has helped galvanize the party on Twitter, told CNN.  He points to the success of hashtags – a popular way to keep track of a conversation – on Twitter. “#TCOT” (top conservatives on Twitter) has seen much more success on Twitter than “#P2 (progressives 2.0).

And truth be told, I believe that conservatives are winning the battle across the entire internet via blogging, social networking, videography, internet radio and grassroots organizing.  Hundreds of grassroots organizations representing the conservative movement have formed during the 2008 Presidential campaign and in the months following Obama’s Inauguration Day.  I myself have become much more politically active due to the conservative activity on the internet.  And much more informed.

Obama Losing America’s Confidence

Lately, it seems that every day a new poll is released with bad news for the Obama administration.  Americans are losing their confidence in the President as they continue to watch him fumble about due to inexperience in ever running anything in his life and his pursuit of far-left goals for the country.  His message of hope and change has been erased by the same old Washington politics of special interests, unions and big government.  A new Washington Post-ABC News survey released today found that less than half of Americans — 49 percent — say they believe the president will make the right decisions for the country.  That is way down from his nearly 70 percent rating at his inauguration and down from 60 percent at the 100-day mark of the Obama presidency.

There is more disapproval for the President than approval and he does not seem to be listening as he increases his appearances in every media venue he can find and continues with the same rhetoric about a healthcare reform plan that Americans disapprove of  and fear will ruin our healthcare system and their healthcare relationships, particularly the senior citizens of the country.  Conservatives outnumber all other political persuasions and that number continues to grow.  Americans love their freedom and will fight for it.
