What Does This Picture Say To You?

This picture published by the White House tells me everything I need to know.  Sgt. Crowley who was called a racist and maligned by Professor Gates and received no apology from him, helps Gates down the stairs while an oblivious Obama marches forward without regard to his friend.  He has no regard for the elderly.  Maybe Gates should just take a pill.  Bravo Sgt. Crowley for being a class act!

National Endowment For The Arts Stimulates

Everybody already is aware that the Recovery Act was really just a pork-laden bill that contained very little stimulus for the economy.  When I originally heard that the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) was receiving stimulus dollars I remember wondering how and what that stimulates in the economy.  Now we know since it has been reported that the NEA has used the dollars to stimulate people through art house “pervert” revues.  Yes, the NEA is using our tax dollars to fund pornography.

The NEA was given $80 million in stimulus dollars and used a $50,000 infusion for the Frameline film house, which recently screened Thundercrack, “the world’s only underground kinky art porno horror film, complete with four men, three women and a gorilla.”  They also have funded pornographic horror films and nude simulated-sex dances.

We tried to warn everybody about this kind of waste and abuse of our tax dollars, but it was not enough to get people to fight this Porkulus Bill.  Perhaps people will pay better attention in the future.

Cash For Clunkers Dead!

This entitlement program known as “Cash for Clunkers” has been left dead on the side of road.  The bill was only just approved by Congress in June and would have provided government incentives of $3,500 to $4,500 to motorists if they traded in their clunkers, which were defined as gas guzzling vehicles. The money was supposed to be used to pay for a more fuel efficient car. Republicans strongly opposed the measure except for RINOs like Susan Collins.

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden pushed the measure hard by making calls to Democrats who were considering voting against the measure like Senator Maria Cantwell. Senator Debbie Stabenow said, “This is an emergency for families and small businesses — for an industry that has been the backbone of our economy for a generation.”  I guess the emergency was not urgent enough to carry out the program.  The truth is that the morons in Washington just realized this program was too expensive.  I guess we should give them credit that it only took a month for them to figure out that $1 billion in rebates was unsustainable.  There have already been over 22,000 vehicles bought under the program.

“There’s a significant backlog of ‘cash for clunkers’ deals that make us question how much funding is still available in the program,” said Bailey Wood, a spokesman for the dealers association.  Uh oh, somebody may get an IOU from the government instead of their rebate.  Wonder if that will wake them up.

Conyers On Healthcare Bill: Surprising And Terrifying!

Well, maybe not so surprising since we are talking about a lefty loon when we are discussing House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers.  He gave a speech at the National Press Club this week and made some comments about the House’s healthcare bill (HR3200).  Most people have heard him complain about a colleague and We the People in general wanting our representatives to read the bills they vote on before they take that vote.  He said in regards to HR3200 that he would need 48 hours and two lawyers in order to read the bill.  I think this was his idea of humor, but it just pissed me off.  What some people missed is something he said during that same speech that was more alarming.  He said, “We need a real serious bill and, by the way, the fundamental question, ‘Is health care a constitutional right?  I mean, do you have a right to health care in the American system of government or not?  Well, we believe that people do and we’re introducing a constitutional amendment just to make it real clear so that you don’t have to infer or assume that that’s a given and all that.”

MY GOD THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE!!  They step on our Constitution as if it is as worthless as toilet paper and now they are discussing adding an amendment that will make their crap ObamaCare a Constitutional right?!  Over my dead body – which I have a feeling they would greatly desire.

Elderly Hold Obama’s Feet To The Fire

Yesterday at a townhall hosted by the AARP, President Obama found himself being questioned harshly by elderly Americans who have heard about page 425 of HR3200 and its provisions about end of life counseling or what I like to call “brainwash the unwanted old people so they want to do their duty and die”.  Our elders also have history to look to and they know that socialized medicine leaves them out of the loop.  The President himself mentioned during his ABC healthcare infomercial that some old people will be told to just go take a pill for their pain rather than have surgery when a woman asked him if her mother who was 100 and needed a pacemaker would be allowed to get one under his plan.  That does not give the elderly much hope under ObamaCare.

“I have been told there is a clause in there that everyone that’s Medicare age will be visited and told to decide how they wish to die,” one caller, Mary, asked Obama.  “This bothers me greatly and I’d like for you to promise me that this is not in this bill,” she added.

Obama’s answer after some pause to make sure he did not blow this answer like his “Cambridge police are stupid” answer was, ”I think that the only thing that may have been proposed in some of the bills — and I actually think this is a good thing — is that it makes it easier for people to fill out a living will.  But, Mary, I just want to be clear: Nobody is going to be knocking on your door; nobody is going to be telling you you’ve got to fill one out.  And certainly, nobody is going to be forcing you to make a set of decisions on end-of-life care based on some bureaucratic law in Washington.”  Do you believe him, Mary?  I sure would not because his previous answers and the wording of the bill says something quite different.

My advice to all of us and in particular our elderly, is to read this new bill being marked up by the House.  Scrutinize it carefully because Progressives are Eugenicists, which means the elderly are expendable.

China Summit In America Worthless

The government needs to stop wasting time and money with Obama’s foreign policy and diplomacy.  Now he is playing nice with the Red Chinese who have been in America for the past two days to discuss our relationship and most importantly, economics.  As usual, nothing has been accomplished other than Obama coming out and announcing that the United States sought a new era of “cooperation, not confrontation” with China.  Yeah, I’m pretty sure that was all previous presidents have done with China is be confrontational.  Particularly that Clinton guy.

The truth here is that China has us in a debt headlock.  They own over one trillion dollars in our debt and could destroy us in one fell swoop even as Timmy Tax Cheat Geithner tries to reassure them that inflation is not on the horizon.  Geithner must have forgotten that he was laughed out of China last month when he claimed that our economy was improving and that we would lower our deficits.

The President wanted to convince China to start importing our goods since we import so much of their goods.  Why should they when they can just buy their own more cheaply?  Maybe we should try manufacturing our own goods – such a novel idea.  And Hillary and Obama are still pleading with China to get on the new green energy bandwagon.  They obviously have not noticed that China’s economy is thriving as they build one new coal fired plant every week.  China is not about to stop their manufacturing sector, especially since they know that this green energy movement is a farce. 

The President also wanted cooperation from China in regards to North Korea.  Nothing came of that either.  So we see our leadership once again bumbling along and getting nothing done, but they sure look impressively busy.

Obama’s Racism Continues To Show

Last week, at the tail-end of his fourth primetime press conference, the President answered reporter Lynn Sweet’s question, “What does that incident say to you? And what does it say about race relations in America,” about an incident involving a black Harvard professor by admitting that he did not know details about the incident and was biased because the professor, Henry Louis Gates Jr. was a friend, but stated that Camridge, Massachusettes police had acted stupidly when they arrested Gates.  Details about the arrest reveal that Gates was acting disrespectfully and disorderly towards the police officers.  The President clearly gave a poor answer, but as always, revealed a bit more of his inner workings.

Professor Gates has been revealed as a racist himself.  Several soundbites of the man reveal him laughing about Malcolm X getting in white people’s faces and calling them devils.  This is yet another person who Obama considers to be a friend that appears to be racist.  Since the President immediatley took Gates side without even knowing the facts against white officers, I can rightly assume he has a lot of issues with white America.  He just hides it well.  But the President does not just have issues with white people.  He clearly has problems with Jews as well.  His behavior towards Israel makes it obvious as he continues to choose the terrorists that rule over the Palestinians instead of our Jewish ally in Israel.  Israel has taken notice.

Over 2,000 protestors took to the streets in Israel as George Mitchell, the President’s envoy to Israel, is there making sure that no new Israel settlements are built.  People carried signs declaring, “No you can’t!”  Dani Dayan, who heads the Council of Jewish Communities of Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, which helped to organize the event said, ”People tell us that it is impossible to stand up against American pressure; there is no bigger lie.”

“Obama should not be pressing Israel to compromise and freeze building in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem,” protest organizer Yaacov Steinberg told WND.

Speaking at the rally, Rabbi Eliezer Waldman called Obama a “racist” and exclaimed, “How dare he tell the Jews where they can or can’t live! The era when Jews were banned from living in different places has ended.  Obama beware. This insolence will bring about the downfall of the American leadership. Anyone who dares give an order to prevent Israeli life in Jerusalem or anywhere else in the land of Israel is destined to fall.”

“This week the American pressure reached new highs that are a shame to democratic societies,” declared Pinchas Wallerstein who is the director of the Yesha Council of Jewish Communities in the West bank.

 ”It’s absolutely an outrageously racist policy,” Mort Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America, told WND. “Especially in light of how Obama should be sensitive when it comes to anything that would remotely constitute discrimination of people based on ethnicity or religion.”

It appears the President is only sensitive when it comes to black people who are progressive.  Israel is a long time ally and now they are demonstrating against us.  Obama’s ideas of making nice with our enemies and alienating our friends must stop!

Progressive Email Push For ObamaCare

I recently was forwarded an email that is being sent out to Obama supporters, particularly those who support ObamaCare.  The Obama adminstration realizes that their plans for government healthcare are going down in flames and they need their grassroots Kool-Aid drinkers to continue the lies and manipulations.  Here is that email:

“Friend –

Last week, Republican Senator Jim DeMint made it pretty clear why the opponents of health care reform are fighting so hard. As he told a special interest attack group, “If we’re able to stop Obama on this, it will be his Waterloo. It will break him.”  Here’s how the President responded:

‘Think about that. This isn’t about me. This isn’t about politics. This is about a health care system that is breaking America’s families, breaking America’s businesses and breaking America’s economy. And we can’t afford the politics of delay and defeat when it comes to health care. Not this time, not now. There are too many lives and livelihoods at stake.’

With Congress only days away from finalizing their plans for reform, it’s time to stand with the President and fight back against this disastrous brand of old-style politics. So we need as many people as possible to publicly support the President’s principles for health care reform and call on Congress to act.

Before the first full votes in Congress, we’ll publish the signatures in newspaper ads across the nation, to make sure your voice is heard.

The President is more dedicated than ever to passing health care reform that satisfies the three requirements he’s been talking about for months: Health care reform must reduce costs, guarantee choice — including the choice of a strong public insurance option — and ensure all Americans have quality, affordable health care.

It always amazes me how the left uses the excuse that “we cannot do nothing” so we have to do their something.  The truth is that if ObamaCare is implemented the scare tactic they are using (which I bolded) will actually be the result.  Future generations have already been shackled by this government and it will only get worse.  Not to mention that those future generations will be left with the burden of deciding who will recieve healthcare as they are forced to ration the healthcare of the future – one in which fewer and fewer of our children decide to go into medicine because the government has made it unattractive.  It is crucial for us to show Congress that we do not want them to back this.

ObamaCare Infomercial 2 Coming

I am currently visiting family in Colorado and it warmed my heart to know that a liberal representative here in Colorado, Jared Polis, is putting up a roadblock to ObamaCare.  His main gripe is about the surtax being aimed at wealthy Americans.  I imagine that his constiuency is made up of a great deal of these people because who has met a liberal that does not want to tax the rich?  ObamaCare is losing traction quickly as America wakes up to the fact that this legislation will ruin the best healthcare system in the world and America in general.  The administration has even switched to calling ObamaCare reform for health insurance rather then healthcare reform.

Tonight a second ObamaCare Infomercial will broadcast during primetime and they are even going to run a live chat on Facebook to appeal to younger people.  I wish I could be in that chatroom because the people who care enough to watch this crap are not in favor of the President’s type of reform.  I guess the Obama adminstration did not get the hint when the first inomercial was a bomb in the ratings.  When are the broadcast stations going to get a clue?  They must really fear this guy to throw away their money the way they do on this drivel.  And what exactly does Obama think talking more about his ObamaCare will do?  Does he think he can convince you that his plan is right?  Is this some form of hypnosis?  This has become so much more than just a battle of the parties.  Obama tried to point fingers at the GOP for going after him rather than wanting to help the country when Jim DeMint referred to ObamaCare as Obama’s Waterloo.  The truth hurts.

Obama is trying to get this done quickly, although his timetable seems to be stretching to the end of the year now rather than August, because of his loss of traction and because of the light being shined on the Senate and House versions of healthcare reform.  I already discussed the revelations on page 16 about people not being able to keep their private healthcare eventually.  Page 425 appears to have a requirement that the elderly will have to receive end of life counseling several times in their final years.  Probably to help them “realize” that they should support rationing that will leave them out in the cold.  And we also now have seen last week, the House Ways and Means Committee defeated an amendment that would have prevented illegal aliens from using the so-called “public health insurance option.”  So ObamaCare is being set up not only to force those with insurance to pay for the insurance of those that do not have it, but also for people who are not already citizens.  I can already see the masses crossing the border even more heavily than they do already.  Look, America is offering free healthcare to all.

These people are determined to destroy our country and so we must be more determined to stop them!
